Community partners are organizations that work with UCA students and faculty to meet needs in our local community, our state, and around the world. Some of these organizations have come to us to express interest in having UCA students as volunteers. Other partnerships have been arranged by faculty members for a specific service-learning course. All community partners are asked to sign an annual letter of agreement covering any service-learning projects or volunteer opportunities offered to UCA students.
Information on past and current community partner organizations, including current volunteer needs, past service-learning projects, and contact information, is provided in the community partner database.
There are many ways to use the Community Partner Database:
- BROWSE the list of organizations to find one that catches your eye
- FILTER using the Service Sector drop down to find opportunities with kids, animals, the environment, etc.
- SEARCH in the Relevant Majors drop down to find where YOU are needed most!
By default, only active community partners (those who have a letter of agreement for this academic year) are displayed. To see all past partners, click the “x” next to “Active is checked” at the top of the page to remove this filter.
