Academic Service-Learning is UCA students’ opportunity to jump start their path to life-long community engagement. These special opportunities are made possible through working relationships with community agencies. These partnerships involve community agency staff, community leaders, residents, entrepreneurs, K-12 educators, state and local elected officials, faculty, university personnel and other students. This partnership enables students to engage with, give to, and learn from extraordinary people, giving them a broader view of the world.
Academic Service-Learning is IMPOSSIBLE without the help, support, and cooperation of our community partners! When a partner opens the door to their agency for a student to gain meaningful-real world experiences through service-learning, they open a door to a lifetime of possibilities!
If your organization is interested in becoming a partner, please fill out our online Community Partner Information Form (form will open in a new browser window).
If your needs would best be filled by an internship, please contact Clif Ford, Interim Associate Director of Cooperative Education, at email@example.com or 501-450-3250, for help listing your internship opportunity for UCA students to receive academic credit.
