Academic Service-Learning is UCA students’ opportunity to jump start their path to life-long community engagement.  These special opportunities are made possible through developing working relationships with community agencies.  These partnerships involve community agency staff, community leaders, residents, entrepreneurs, K-12 educators, state and local elected officials, faculty, university personnel and other students.    This partnership enables students to engage with, give to and learn from extraordinary people, giving them a broader view of the world.

Academic Service-Learning is IMPOSSIBLE without the help, support, and cooperation of our community partners!  When a partner opens the door to their agency for a student to gain meaningful-real world experiences through service-learning, they open a door to a lifetime of possibilities!
