Michelle Stoll is a native of Arkansas and a 1995 English graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. After graduation, she packed up and moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where she lived for more than 20 years and worked for the U.S Forestry Service and the Virginia Department of Forestry. She has since returned home to the Natural State.
Michelle’s poetry and nonfiction have been published in Slant, Moxie, Sage Woman, Crosswind, the Glasgow Review, Snakeskin, and The Galway Review. She is currently a student in the MFA program at Mississippi University for Women. Back at home on the UCA campus, she works as the Director of Communications for the Arkansas Center for Research in Economics, a privately-funded research and education center housed in the College of Business.
