Getting to Know Dr. Nam
Introduction
I am originally from South Korea and completed my Ph.D. in Utah. I miss the dry summers and snow! I moved to the Southern U.S. for this job. Due to my background in cultural psychology, I find Southern culture, which emphasizes family orientation and hospitality, to be fascinating. I typically teach Multicultural Psychology, which addresses numerous contemporary issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society. In my leisure time, I enjoy binge-watching TV shows, especially crime and cop shows (e.g., Bones, CSI, and The Rookie).
