RN to BSN – Post-Acceptance Process

All official correspondence regarding the status of applications will be conducted between UCA Nursing Admissions and students through email.

If accepted, candidates must provide the following before enrolling in courses:

  1. Hepatitis B immunization or signed declination statement
  2. CPR certification provided by the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course valid through academic year
  3. TB skin test (or equivalent) valid through academic year
  4. Copy of valid health insurance
  5. Varicella vaccine & booster documentation
  6. Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine or evidence of immunity
  7. Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (Tdap) documentation of vaccination within last 10 year
  8. Flu vaccine documentation
  9. Criminal Background Check
  10. Adult and Child Abuse History Clearance
  11. Drug Screen
  12. Current copy of unencumbered RN license

If any of the above requirements are not satisfied, admission to the program may be rescinded.
