Program Description
Experience the dynamic culture of Taipei, Taiwan, in a three-week study abroad program designed to give students a unique opportunity to explore Taiwan’s rich culture, history, and innovative spirit while enhancing their academic journey. This program offers a unique blend of language acquisition, cultural immersion, and exposure to Taiwan’s business sector. Students will have the chance to engage in Mandarin Chinese courses daily, equipping them with essential skills for professional communication. In addition, students will explore Taiwanese traditions and practices by participating in various cultural activities and visiting important local landmarks. During their visits to local businesses, UCA students will gain insights into Taiwan’s economy and lifestyle.
Taipei is a safe city with excellent public transportation, enabling students to explore and communicate with local residents confidently.
Join us for this enriching experience that combines language, culture, and professional development in one of Asia’s most vibrant cities!
Health and Safety
Students registering for programs should carefully read through all health and safety information provided during the application process. In addition, students should honestly complete the ‘Health and Safety Form’ so that any health related concerns may be adequately accommodated on study abroad programs.
Participants will be enrolled in comprehensive international insurance for the duration of programming. It is the student’s responsibility to extend insurance cover if they stay abroad beyond UCA’s planned program dates. For information about international insurance coverage: https://uca.edu/globalstudy/health-and-safety/
