Pre-Designed Faculty-Led Program

The Office of Education Abroad is thrilled to announce the launch of a new application process for one faculty-led study abroad program for Summer 2025. This unique opportunity comes with a predetermined itinerary, location, and provider.

Please review this document for more details before continuing the application process. You can find an outlined application timeline below.

PHASE I (to be completed by March 1st)

  • Must attend a  “Faculty Info Session: Leading an Education Abroad Program.” Faculty information sessions have been scheduled for February 8th during X period in Torreyson Library 215 or February 14th at 3 PM via Zoom.  Please register for either event here. You must attend at least one.   
  • Submit an application outlining the how you will mold the program to fit your academic discipline by March 1st.

Your application will be reviewed by the Office of Education Abroad and the Center for Global Learning and Engagement.

PHASE II (Mid March – Early April)

  • Faculty applicants will receive a notice about their approval to lead the program
  • Selected faculty members must meet with Office of Education Abroad staff to review feedback on submitted application
  • If selected, the faculty member(s) must submit a signed Short Term Study Abroad Faculty Approval Form*

PHASE III (all documents submitted by May 1st)

  • Complete Faculty Data Form*
  • Read and sign Faculty Guidelines*
  • Submit a form specifying your changes and additions to the program
  • Email course syllabi to the Office of Education Abroad

*Each faculty member must submit this form individually.

All forms are due by May 1st. After this point, we will continue working with our provider to enhance the program. Please expect to receive communication from the Office of Education Abroad throughout June and July.
