 Program Description

Step into the pages of history and literature on a three-week journey through England and Scotland. Beginning in London, we will explore centuries-old castles, cathedrals, royal courts, and storied neighborhoods that shaped the rise and fall of empires and inspired generations of writers and thinkers. From the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey to Oxford’s ancient colleges and the timeless wonder of Stonehenge, each stop invites you to stand where revolutions were sparked and iconic works were imagined.

Beyond London, we will travel north to trace the winding medieval streets of York and the elegant Georgian terraces of Bath before crossing into Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. Here you will roam the Royal Mile, climb the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle, and walk university courtyards where philosophers and poets once debated great ideas. With day trips to ruined castles, coastal cliffs, and ancient universities, this program is a chance to experience Britain’s deep history and vibrant literary heritage firsthand. You will return home with a new understanding of the landscapes, monuments, and stories that continue to shape the world’s imagination.
