Kappa Delta Pi

Kappa Delta Pi (Pi Beta Chapter) is an international honor society for education majors, one of UCA’s resident student organizations (RSO). The three goals of KDP at UCA:

  • Recognize educators who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and commitment to the educational profession.
  • Address the needs of members throughout all phases of their career in education.
  • Provide a learning community that supports professional growth.

Eligibility:

Undergraduates:

  • At least 18 semester hours completed
  • At least 6 semester hours of Professional Education courses in progress or completed
  • 3.5 GPA or higher

Graduate Students:

  • Accepted into the graduate school and pursuing coursework in education
  • Completion of 6 semester hours of graduate work in current program
  • 3.75 GPA or higher

Expectations:

  • Meeting Attendance
  • Initiation Ceremony (Tuesday, April 16, 2024 @ 6:00 PM)
  • Service Projects
  • Fundraising
  • Professional Development
  • Active (Paid) Membership
  • Maintain GPA
