Tracie Spivey serves as Project Coordinator for the University of Central Arkansas Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED) and the Community Development Institute. An Honors graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and is a graduate of UCA’s three-year Community Development Institute (CDI) program. She has also completed the Mid-South Basic Economic Development Course and earned her Professional Community and Economic Development (PCED) certification.

Prior to joining the CCED/CDI team, Tracie served as Office Manager for UCA’s Outreach and Community Engagement Division and as Assistant Director of the Conway Area Youth Leadership Institute (CAYLI).

Tracie is actively engaged in the community, currently serving on the Emergency Food and Shelter Program board through United Way of Central Arkansas and as a reading tutor with Literacy Action of Central Arkansas. Her past service includes roles as Treasurer and Chair of the Conway Alliance for the Arts (CAFTA) and as a board member of the Jewish Federation of Arkansas.

She is a graduate of the Conway Area Leadership Institute (Class of 2026) and UCA’s Lead, Engage, Act, Discover (LEAD) Program (Class of 2025). Tracie is currently pursuing an Arkansas Certified Public Manager certificate through the Arkansas Public Administration Consortium at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
