Career Services works with faculty and staff to provide quality programs and services to UCA’s students and to help faculty, staff, students, and employers connect to promote opportunities for our students. Here are a few of the ways we can work together.

Partner with Career Services through….

  • Class Resume Reviews – Fall and Spring: Are you completing resumes in class? Partner with Career Services to review your classes resumes. Email bears4hire@uca.edu to set up reviews.
  • Don’t Cancel Class – Fall and Spring: If you know that you will have to cancel class on a specific date, don’t cancel class. Contact Career Services instead! We’d love to share an informative presentation with your students. Click here to schedule a presentation!
  • Big Interview – Fall and Spring: Help get students ready for interviews! Encourage your students to use “Big Interview” our online mock interview platform. Big Interview combines training AND practice to help improve interview techniques and build confidence. Big Interview offers a variety of tools including: Challenging, virtual mock interviews for all experience levels and hundreds of industries. To utilize Big Interview in your class, please email bears4hire@uca.edu.
  • Exploring Your Career Field Day – April 5, 2023: For your entire class a small group of employer representatives from numerous organization who hire UCA students will share information about their entry into their own careers, what it’s like to work for their employer, and the kind of opportunities available. Plenty of time is provided for students to ask questions. To register email teresam@uca.edu.
  • WOW Closet Donations: Donations to our World of Work Closet are accepted year round. Donations will be cleaned for students who are seeking professional attire. The closet is a free resource for all UCA students. Click here for more information about donating. 

Career Fairs: 

  1. Plan to attend to meet the employers interested in employing your students and to ease the way of your students by introducing and recommending them to those employers.
  2. Encourage your students to attend the career fairs ready to participate in the mini interviews that will be taking place throughout the room.
