Why she chose her major:
“Before my junior year of high school, I decided to take an accounting course. I had no idea the impact taking this class would have on my life. My amazing teacher, Mrs. Dottie, taught me everything I needed to know about Accounting. I took Accounting 2 my senior year of high school and had the same teacher. Mrs. Dottie noticed that I was comprehending the material very well and recommended that I consider accounting as a major in college. After many conversations with my parents and my teacher, I decided that is exactly what I needed to do.”
