Mrs. Maxine Stover Welter, a resident of Morrilton, Arkansas, was a 1939 graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College. At the time of her death in the early 1990’s, Mrs. Welter was the widow of Mr. Joseph Welter.
Much of Mrs. Welter’s papers were donated to the Morrilton Depot Museum. Mr. Jim Gatling selected-out those items from her papers which dealt with Arkansas State Teachers College, and gave them to the UCA Archives.
