M88-09 – ARKANSAS WPA WRITERS PROJECT COLLECTION

These records consist of the materials collected in the WPA Arkansas Writers Project and also includes manuscripts and the administrative records including correspondence.  The Writers Project employed researchers, writers and administrators during the depression era with the purpose of publishing an Arkansas guidebook while providing employment for a number of people.

Arrangement:

Series I – consists of administrative records including correspondence.  It is contained in two boxes.

Series II – is contained in three boxes and consists of the materials collected in the research project and manuscripts.
