M01-14 – ROBERT D. COVINGTON / WORLD WAR II COLLECTION

Robert Covington was born in Romance, Arkansas and later lived in Des Arc, Arkansas.  He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Little Rock.  According to his U.S. Navy separation notice he was a Ship’s Cook, Third Class.  He served aboard the USS Cascade (AD-16) and USS Piedmont (AD-17).  He mustered out of the Navy May 20, 1946.  Farming was listed as his main civilian occupation.
