Departmental Credit Cards

Bank of America Procurement Card (P-Card)

The P-Card is a Mastercard credit card that facilitates the acquisition of lower dollar goods and services needed for conducting official university business. The P-Card is issued to select full-time university employees to enhance the university and departmental effectiveness and economy of operations. Anyone who is responsible for ordering office supplies must have a P-Card. For further information on a P-Card application, guidelines, eligibility, forms, and usage refer to this P-Card information found on the Purchasing and Travel website.

Bank of America Sponsored Travel Card (Travel Card)

The application and oversight for Travel cards are managed through the Purchasing Department.

If a member of your department travels often, they may want to have a travel card that is offered through the travel office.  This card may not be used by anyone other than the person whos name appears on the card.  The travel card is used to pay for most things related to travel; such as airline flights, hotel rooms, conference registration, baggage, taxi, and parking.  It excludes memberships, food, airline upgrades, and personal purchases.  A travel PO for each trip must be in place before using the card.

Please refer to the Procurement, Construction, Travel, and Card Services website for the Travel Procedures Manual, travel training, forms, and more information.

If someone in your office has not been issued a travel card you will need to visit the Travel office to use the University Ghost Card for travel expenses such as lodging, airfare and baggage, or conference registration. A travel PO must be in place before using the University Ghost Credit Card.

Please refer to the Travel tab for a more detailed discussion of travel procedures at UCA.
