- Stop by the Student Success Center to pick up a free Academic Planner
- Review Brightspace for your online coursework.
- Read the class syllabus: Identify Contact Info, Office Hours, Textbook and Course materials, Homework and Lecture Policies, Course Calendar, Grading Rubric, and Absentee policy.
- Make a tutoring appointment in the Tutoring and Academic Success Center, Center for Writing and Communication, Math Lab, or Accounting Lab once a week
- Make a plan to study in the Tutoring and Academic Success Center at least twice a week
- Apply for 90 hour degree audit
- Attend in person Academic Success Workshops
- Student Lingo Workshop:
- Developing a Strong Thesis Statement
- Developing Critical Thinking Skills
- Apply for Foundation Scholarships – October – Mid-January
- Make connections with professors – you will want them to be references when you graduate.
- Look at Study Abroad
- Go to Career Fair
- Go to Career Fair – look for internships
- Visit W.O.W. closet – you can get 1 professional outfit per year for attending the career fair or job interviews
