Internships are experiential education opportunities which provide students the opportunity to apply skills obtained in the classroom. Internships may take a variety of formats. They can be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid, and they may, or may not, be eligible for credit.
To participate in an internship, students must have completed at least 60 semester hours and maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. To receive announcements about internship positions and participate in on-campus interviews, you must visit the Office of Cooperative Education in Bernard Hall 318. During the visit, students will be added to the distribution list, instructed to register on Myinterfase, and will meet with the Assistant Director of Cooperative Education.
Students interested in internships that offer academic credit must contact their Internship Coordinator within their respective departments. Your Internship Coordinator will assist you in processing the necessary documents for gaining credit from your internship experience.
