Internships are experiential education opportunities which provide students the opportunity to apply skills obtained in the classroom. Internships may take a variety of formats. They can be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid, and they may, or may not, be eligible for credit within all of the majors that may apply.
To receive announcements about internship positions open to you and to participate in on-campus interviews, you must contact the Office of Cooperative Education in Bernard Hall 318. You will be added to the announcement distribution list, instructed to register on Myinterfase, and the Cooperative Education staff will be available to review your resume and to help you prepare to take maximum advantage of the opportunities available to you.
To participate in an internship for academic credit, students must have completed at least 60 semester hours and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students interested in internships for academic credit must contact their Internship Coordinator within their respective departments. Your Internship Coordinator will assist you in processing the necessary documents for gaining credit from your internship experience.
