The linguistics program consists of linguistics courses in the Department of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures, & Cultures as well as other departments across campus.  Since the study of language is a part of so many other disciplines, we can offer our students the opportunity to specialize in a particular area or to sample linguistics in a variety of sub-disciplines.

Be sure to check which courses may be applied to the track you have chosen for the Linguistics major.  None of the courses in Tracks One or Three count in the Linguistics minor.
