At The Washington Center (TWC) for Internships and Academic Seminars, students not only get a great work and learning experience, they also get great life experience. TWC guarantees housing for all students who submit their Community Profile by the deadline.  All students should expect to be placed within the Residential and Academic Facility (RAF) in northeastern Washington DC.  Students who choose TWC housing will live in a shared apartment unit, which is located near Capitol Hill and Union Station. Units are two bedroom, two bathroom apartments that house four people, with a shared living area and fully functional kitchen.  All apartments are furnished with utilities, a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, mounted TV, and wireless internet.

What are the advantages of TWC housing?

  • Avoid the stress of arranging a short-term contract.
  • All you need to bring to Washington, D.C. are your personal items. Everything else is taken care of!
  • Easy access to your internship and local resources via Metro or bus.
