The Student Life Department provides many opportunities for students to get involved in campus life outside the classroom through participation in-
- Nearly 200 student organizations, including 20 Greek organizations
- Community service/volunteer opportunities.
- Leadership development activities, including the IDEAL Leadership program for freshman.
- The Bear Den, a campus athletic spirit group
Participation in these activities help teach and promote leadership skills, social growth and development, cultural understanding, spiritual development, and how to give back to the community.
