Courtney Beard (M.A., Saint Louis University) is Director of the Community Language School and Lecturer II of Spanish. She is an alumnus of UCA, where she double-majored in Spanish and Theatre, and minored in the Honors College Interdisciplinary Studies. She returned to UCA in 2009 to teach the Elementary and Intermediate level Spanish courses. Her research interests include second language acquisition, pedagogy, and classroom technology.
