Amanda Bruce graduated with a B.A. Joint Hons. in French and German from
Queen’s University in Belfast, and a Dip. TEFL and an M.A. in TESOL from Ulster
University at Coleraine, Northern Ireland. During her studies she taught EFL in
Germany for a year, was an international student at the Université Grenoble Alpes
in France, and completed her overseas student teaching placement in Madrid,
Spain. She has taught EFL in Turkey, and ESL in four different states in the U.S. In
2005, Amanda joined IEP as a part-time instructor and became a full-time member
of the program in 2015.
