Psi Chi International Honor Society is sponsoring a rock/paper/scissors tournament at the Campus Amphitheater on Thursday, March 12 at x-period.

Cory Cobb and Dong Xie Publish Research

Cory Cobb, a first year psychology doctoral student, and Dr. Dong Xie, had their paper, “Structure of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support for Undocumented Hispanic Immigrants” accepted for publication in the journal, Hispanic Journal of the Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. James Grice to Host Workshops

Dr. James Grice from Oklahoma State University will be in the department on Thu, Mar 5 and Fri, Mar 6 to host several workshops regarding statistical analyses (Observation Oriented Modeling) and on George Kelly’s theory of personal constructs. Check the department for specific times and locations.

Psi Chi Invited Speaker – Dr. James McNulty

All faculty and students are invited to attend a talk by Dr. James McNulty of Florida State University on the top The Science of Intimate Relationships. The talk will be Tue, Feb 10, 4-6 pm in Mashburn 202.

UCA Psychological Society Meeting

On Thursday, Feb 12, the UCA Psychological Society will host a panel discussion on the variety of career paths in psychology. Everyone is invited to Mashburn Hall Room 200 from 1:40-2:30 pm.
