Drs. Charlton, Sobel, & Sobel Publish Textbook

Dr. Shawn Charlton, Dr. Kenith Sobel, and Dr. Susan Sobel (Director of the UCA Counseling Center) have published a new textbook for General Psychology. Psychology: The Science of Who We Are (Fountainhead Press) is in bookstores this week and will be used for several sections of General Psychology this fall.

The textbook was prompted by the need for a lower cost alternative for students. The Science of Who We Are sells for $80 vs. $200 for most other general psychology texts. Also, proceeds from the text go back to accounts in the UCA Foundation to support undergraduate and graduate students at UCA, including study aboard, undergraduate research, and graduate counseling students.
Congratulations to Drs. Charlton, Sobel, and Sobel!
