UCA employees earn $3 million in grants in 2003

The biggest gift to the University of Central Arkansas in 2003 came from its own employees who brought in nearly $3.3 million in grant money for academics and research, nearly $1 million more than in 2002. Researchers conducting cancer study

Dr. Steven Runge, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and student Brandon Walser received a $2,650 State Undergraduate Research Fellowship to conduct a study that could lay the groundwork for future cancer therapies.
