School Counselor Bibliotherapy Resources

The lack of resources available to school counselors and education today necessitates the creative use of existing resources. Over the past several years education funding has decreased from states and the federal government resulting in a trickle-down effect to student services. This Website is intended to be a resources for school counselors to help students face a multitude of challenges faced today. The list of resources is easily accessible through your local library, media center or the Internet. A link to the current resource list with the appropriate age, type of resource, and ISBN number is also available on this page.

This Website is a work in progress. We hope to add to our lists with your help. Feedback is encouraged from the school community regarding the use of these materials in helping students. Scroll down to the list of titles below and click on the resource you  have used. A form will pop up for you to answer whether or not you liked the resource. Please rank the resource and identify whether you are a student, parent, teacher, library media specialist, school counselor, or other community member.
