  1. Electives (9 hours from the HLTH/HSC elective courses shown above) selected with the approval of the graduate advisor. Students may only transfer up to 9 hours of credit from another school, with the Thesis Option.

Note:  Students may transfer 12 credit-hours into the program, with approval from the Graduate School.

All students must successfully complete a written comprehensive examination or present evidence of current CHES/MCHES certification. The comprehensive exam will be given with the permission of the graduate coordinator or department chair after the student has completed the required core courses. The student will advise the graduate coordinator of intent to take the examination by submitting a request via email (HeatherH@uca.edu).
