Department of Health Sciences

About Our Department

The Department of Health Sciences offers six undergraduate degree programs, two pre-degree programs, and one graduate program. We are proud to be one of the largest and most diverse departments in the College.

Faculty members strive to inspire students to embrace higher learning through effective teaching, advising, and mentoring. These faculty pursue excellence in a supportive atmosphere designed to meet students’ needs and professional goals.

Undergraduate programs prepare students to work in a variety of health-related and allied health professions. They include:

Health Promotion Graduate Students Studying Outside

 

The graduate program is delivered totally online, can be completed in one year, and prepares graduates to assume leadership and supervisory roles in community, school, medical care, and worksite settings.
