Ms. Patel is an instructor in the Department of Health Sciences. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a master’s degree in Health Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in Health Education. Ms. Patel was also a Health Coach for Interactive Health and assists with biometric screenings on campus. Ms. Patel teaches Personal Health, Essentials of Health and Wellness, Health Concerns of Aging, and Medical Terminology. In addition, she teaches Journeys to Success for the Department of Student Transitions and teaches in HPaW Residential College in Baridon Hall. Ms. Patel also assists as a student advisor in the Academic Advising Center during the summer. She is passionate about many things, including cooking, dance exercise classes, traveling the world, multiculturalism, and physical health.
