Kappa Delta Pi (Pi Beta Chapter) is an international honor society for education majors, one of UCA’s resident student organizations (RSO). The three goals of KDP at UCA:
- Recognize educators who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and commitment to the educational profession.
- Address the needs of members throughout all phases of their career in education.
- Provide a learning community that supports professional growth.
Eligibility:
Undergraduates:
- At least 18 semester hours completed
- At least 6 semester hours of Professional Education courses in progress or completed
- 3.5 GPA or higher
Graduate Students:
- Accepted into the graduate school and pursuing coursework in education
- Completion of 6 semester hours of graduate work in current program
- 3.75 GPA or higher
Expectations:
- Meeting Attendance
- Initiation Ceremony (Tuesday, April 16, 2024 @ 6:00 PM)
- Service Projects
- Fundraising
- Professional Development
- Active (Paid) Membership
- Maintain GPA
