The University of Central Arkansas Alumni Association Board of Directors is proud to announce five new members. These alumni will serve a three-year term, which began July 1, 2021.
NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Niya Blair Hackworth, B.A.’04 of Fishers, Indiana, serves as the director of inclusion for the NCAA. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in English. As a student at UCA, Hackworth held various leadership positions in Minority Mentorship, was president of the Students for the Propagation of Black Culture, and president of the Theta Mu chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She also served as vice president of the National Panhellenic Council and was an active member of UCA Ambassadors, United Greek Council, Griot Society, and Student Orientation Staff.
Hackworth is a member of the UCA Alumni Association and the Black Alumni Chapter.
Kaylon Bradford, B.A.’10 of Memphis, Tennessee, is the director of student leadership and involvement at the University of Memphis. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in broadcast journalism. While a student at UCA, Bradford served in several leadership roles including chapter president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fratnerity, Inc., president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, chairman of the Greek Judicial Board, president of the Students for the Propagation of Black Culture, Student Government Association Senator, and Minority Mentorship Program team leader. Additionally, Bradford was a member of the Student Orientation Staff, IDEAL Freshman Leadership, Mr. Esquire Pagent winner, Essence Man of the Year, Resident Assistant, Greek God – first African American, and Outstanding Greek Man of the Year – first African American.
Bradford is a life member of the UCA Alumni Association and a charter member of the Black Alumni Chapter, and current vice-president.
Stephanie Daigle, B.S.’16 of Washington, D.C., serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the D.C. Attorney General. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies and a minor in honors interdisciplinary studies and public administration from the University of Central Arkansas. While a student, she was a member of Delta Zeta’s executive board, Student Government Association, President’s Leadership Fellows, and Student Orientation Staff.
Daigle is a member of the UCA Alumni Association.
Ty Hollowell, B.A.’17 of Gainesville, Florida, is the assistant director for transition programs at the University of Florida. Hollowell earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Central Arkansas. At UCA, Hollowell served as a member of the Bear Marching Band, IDEAL Freshmen Leadership Team, IDEAL mentor, Minority Mentorship Program, Resident Assistant, Association of Future Alumni vice-president of internal relations, UCA Ambassador executive team, President’s Leadership Fellows, Resident Assistant of the Year, UCA Ambassador of the Year, Inaugural Spirit of UCA Award, Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, and Who’s Who recipient.
Hollowell is a member of the UCA Alumni Association and serves as an Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity advisor.
Andrew Reynolds, B.S.’12 of Little Rock, Arkansas, is a storage sales specialist for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. He earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Arkansas. While a student, Reynolds was a member of several student organizations including Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity member, Interfraternal Council, Association of Future Alumni, and UCA Ambassadors.
Reynolds is a member of the UCA Alumni Association and the Sigma Tau Gamma Alumni Chapter.
The UCA Alumni Association Board of Directors develops and oversees the programs and budget of the association to advance the group’s interests. The board maintains 20 volunteer members, and each member has a three-year term.
