Beginners Dog Obedience Class

Are you having a hard time getting your dog to obey? It’s okay, we’ve all been there. You and Pamela will teach your dog basic obedience commands such as sit, down, leave it, come when called, wait, stay and loose leash walking. This class is for dogs 10 months of age or older. You will need to bring your dog’s collar, leash, training treats and proof of vaccinations.

Dog Trick Seminar

Teach your dog a new trick! In this class you will learn all four methods for training your best friend. All dogs will have an opportunity to learn a variety of tricks and many of the dogs will learn 15 or more and actually earn a Novice Trick Dog title (complete with ribbon & certificate). Open to all dogs.

Edible Gardening

Want to start a garden or grow a few tomatoes but have no idea where to begin? New gardener looking for tips, tricks and advice? Edible gardening can seem daunting at first, but this class will walk you through different aspects of vegetable gardening, edible landscaping and the unique aspects of gardening in Conway and Faulkner County. This course covers everything from basic information on annual vegetables and incorporating edibles into your landscape to exploring different soil amendments and fertilizers. First Time Homebuyer

Planning for your future as a first time homeowner is the focus of this course. Upon completion, you will be issued an Arkansas Department of Finance Authority certificate that is a prerequisite for assistance toward a down payment or closing costs on a new home. Anyone who will be on the mortgage loan must attend this class (e.g., both husband and wife). Bring a lunch.
