ACT Prep Course

Parents, now is the time to give your student a head start on improving ACT scores. This course is designed for high school students (10th grade and above) who have previously scored between 17-25 on the ACT or for high schoolers who have yet to take the test. UCA faculty members, experienced in leading ACT Prep courses, will review subject material and offer test-taking tips to help students progress through the exam in a more reasonable and timely manner. Class sizes are kept fairly small to maximize learning. Ideal for students who have registered for the October 28th ACT test date.

The movement toward inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) programs is growing on over 250 campuses across the nation. Learn about the IPSE concepts and how it can be an asset on your campus. Art Journaling

Art journaling has become very popular over the past few years and is a therapeutic way to explore your creativity, record your life and practice techniques like drawing and painting. This class covers choosing or creating your own journal, using basic mixed media materials, putting together a mixed media kit, different styles of art journaling, where to find prompts and a variety of mixed media techniques. At the end of this class, you will have all of the knowledge necessary to create your own art journals.

Beginners Dog Obedience Class

Are you having a hard time getting your dog to obey? It’s okay, we’ve all been there. You and Pamela will teach your dog basic obedience commands such as sit, down, leave it, come when called, wait, stay and loose leash walking. This class is for dogs 10 months of age or older. This is our most popular class for kids! Kids build cars, trucks, landmarks and unique creations with Lego.
