Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) seeks to fill a visiting position beginning August 2012. Though the position is open for all areas of mathematics, preference will be given to candidates with specialty in middle or secondary level mathematics education. A doctorate or equivalent is required.
A strong commitment to and proven ability in undergraduate teaching is required. Regular teaching load is 12 credit hrs per semester. At the present time, the Department has 22 full-time faculty members and 17 graduate assistants. The department offers undergraduate degrees in applied mathematics, mathematics, and mathematics education as well as masters degrees in applied mathematics and mathematics education.
