Dr. John Murphy recognized as “Admired Scholar”

Dr. John Murphy, Professor of Psychology & Counseling, was named an ‘Admired Scholar’ by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP), an international organization that recognizes professionals whose writings pertaining to cultural diversity and social justice have influenced graduate students from underrepresented groups.

Dr. Anderson … “has been selected to attend a workshop intended to improve competitiveness among submissions to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM) program. The two-day, all-expense paid workshop seeks to improve the competitiveness of submissions to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM) program from predominantly undergraduate institutions. Titled “Capacity Building for Competitive S-STEM Proposals,” the workshop will be held at Rice University in Houston, Texas.”
