Community & Economic Development
The Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED) provides technical assistance to local communities in Arkansas to ensure a better quality of life for its citizens and to help garner community engagement through consensus-building, transparency, community ownership and empowerment, and inclusion. Additionally, CCED helps nurture trust and respect and focus on local strengths providing a foundation for community and economic development success.

For over thirty years CDI has equipped community leaders and economic development professionals with the tools and strategies they need to create vibrant, successful communities.
CDI’s success has been recognized through the Governor’s Quality Award for Commitment in 2013 and in 2016 Governor Asa Hutchinson proclaimed August 1-5 Community Development week in Arkansas.
