FREE PD opportunity for teachers on Oct. 26th! Register for “The Crisis Mr. Faubus Made” seminar.

Teachers, administrators and anyone else interested in the Little Rock Central High Crisis should register for the FREE upcoming seminar “The Crisis Mr. Faubus Made: The Role of the Arkansas Gazette in the Central High Crisis.”

Featured films include “The Old Gray Lady: Arkansas’s First Newspaper” and “The Crisis Mr. Faubus Made: The Role of the Arkansas Gazette in the Central High Crisis,” produced by UCA.  Participants will receive a packet with both films and a teacher’s guide and hear research presented by Dr. Sondra Gordy, Angela Webster and Dr. Nancy Gallavan.  The seminar will start at 9:00 am and will be hosted at the Brewer Hegeman Conference Center at UCA.  Click for more information or to register.  Registration on site will also be available from 8:00 am – 9:00 am.
