February 13th, 2019 marks UCA’s American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences 100th birthday. AAFCS is a student organization that provides for and promotes the professional development of family & consumer sciences students. AAFCS was originally known as the Home Economics Club. The picture below includes some of UCA’s earliest members of the Home Economics club from 1919.
