The FACS department welcomes students into the Spring 2019 semester! As we enter 2019 we would like to reflect on some of the big moments of 2018:
Nutrition Department
- The 2018-2019 Dietetic Intern class attended their first Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo! The conference was held in Washington DC and allowed interns to participate in innovative education sessions and explore 1,000s of products being used in the dietetics field.
FACS
- More than 500 Americans participated in FCS Day by choosing to “Dine-in” on December 3rd, which is founder Ellen Richard’s birthday.
- On December 27th, FACS students partnered with CASA to stuff stockings for children in foster care.
Interior Design
- UCA Interior Design students explored the Carrara Marble Mines in Carrara, Italy. These mines are where Michelangelo, along with many other artists, found marble for their masterpieces.
