Community Nutrition Goes to the Farm

On April 12th Mrs. Schichtl’s Community Nutrition visited the Conway Urban Farm which is located behind the Faulkner County Library. They helped plant and water the garden and could even take a vegetable plant home with them! They learned about local food systems, ways to use fruits and vegetables in healthy cooking, and ways to season foods with herbs instead of other less healthy options of flavor. They worked hard and based on the reflections received, learned a lot!
