Student nominees sough for Jack Kent Cooke scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has announced its fourth annual Jack Kent Cooke Foundation graduate scholarship competition. The Foundation will award 45 to 50 scholarships to outstanding students to begin graduate studies in fall 2005. Scholarship at UCA to honor former student

Officials will announce plans Friday, Oct. 29, for a scholarship program to be named after a University of Central Arkansas student and basketball player who died in an apartment fire in April. Chamber Orchestra to perform Friday

The UCA Chamber Orchestra will present its first concert of the 2004-05 season at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29 in the Recital Hall of Snow Fine Arts Center. The Provost's office has announced that another round of Faculty enhancement grants will be awarded in the spring. The due date for these grants will be January 17, 2005.
