UCA therapy dog brighten students’ days
Putting smiles on students' faces is all in a day's work for Ollivander “Ollie” Aloysius Smith, a 5-year-old rough collie. Ollie is a therapy dog who works with the University of Central Arkansas athletic training staff. The Fulbright Teacher Exchanges program has awarded University of Central Arkansas alumna Leslee Tell a Fulbright U.S. Distinguished Teaching Award for the 2022-2023 academic year, making her the first Arkansas high school teacher to receive this honor.
