UCA raises nearly $1.5 million for Day of Giving

The University of Central Arkansas announced today that its Day of Giving on March 7, raised $1.47 million. This is the highest dollar amount raised in the 10-year history of the institution’s Day of Giving.  The total was announced today during a special celebration on campus. UCA’s Bear Essentials Food Pantry receives $5,000 grant

The Bear Essentials Food Pantry has received a $5,000 grant from the Arkansas Hunger Alliance. The funds were used to purchase a commercial freezer. The pantry began participating in the Nutrition Pantry Program (NPP) sponsored by the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance last fall.
