UCA Student-Athletes Raise Nearly $5,000 for Haiti

University of Central Arkansas student-athletes raised nearly $5,000 for Haiti Relief at Sunday's Pancake Breakfast at Stoby's Restaurant. Bright Scholarship Endowed for Student Athletes

Family and friends of Doretta Bright and her late husband, Coach Raymond Bright, gathered at the University of Central Arkansas on Saturday to celebrate the $25,000 endowment of a scholarship honoring the late coach’s career. UCA professors, staff and students used their talent to raise money for Haiti during the UCA Helps Haiti Benefit Concert on Jan. 23. The University of Central Arkansas will retire NBA legend Scottie Pippen's No. 33 jersey Wednesday night during a halftime ceremony. Cantrells Endow UCA Football Scholarships

The University of Central Arkansas Foundation recently received a $100,000 gift from Paul and Mary Cantrell of Little Rock that will benefit the football program.
