Management (BBA)

The Marketing and Management Department offers a Major and a Minor program of study for the business discipline of Management. The Department’s mission is to prepare students for careers in management of all types of organizations, public and private, profit and not-for-profit. The Management program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skill sets necessary to meet the requirements of the global business environment. The department offers courses leading to a BBA degree in Management concentrating on management fundamentals while emphasizing the importance of organizational behavior. The Department exists to support and fulfill the vision and mission of the College of Business Administration by:

  • providing an innovative and relevant curriculum in business management which focuses on and is refined through interaction with the business community.
  • enhancing the learning experience by emphasizing information technologies applicable to Management, collaborations with faculty and students, and critical thinking;
  • serving our external stakeholders by providing qualifying graduates, encouraging professional involvement of students and faculty, and continuing research efforts; and
  • promoting lifelong learning, integrity, and ethical behavior
