Most supervisors and managers will agree that one of their biggest challenges is managing ‘difficult’ employees. These situations can be time-consuming and stressful, but they also present an opportunity for supervisors to better support their employees during challenging times.
Join us for this supervisor training to learn effective strategies for handling complex scenarios, gain insight into the EAP program, and conduct self-assessments of your management skills. When supervisors understand and navigate tough situations thoughtfully, it benefits not only their own effectiveness but also helps employees feel supported and understood. This training is open to all supervisors and managers, regardless of BeWell eligibility or enrollment.
The sessions will be held on July 10th and October 30th, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in Student Center room 223. Click the link below to RSVP your spot now.

Curious what it’s really like to work in the tech industry? Join us for an engaging webinar featuring Zach Callahan, an experienced engineer with a dynamic background in full-stack development, system administration, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Currently, Zach supports an open-source Air Force project, working to streamline secure application development and deployment for the Department of Defense. In this webinar, he’ll walk us through a typical day in his tech job, sharing insights into the tools he uses, challenges he faces, and what it takes to thrive in such a high-impact environment.
In addition to his work as an engineer, Zach is also an instructor at Arkansas Coding Academy, where he’ll be teaching an upcoming class. He’ll discuss what students can expect from his upcoming course, what makes the Arkansas Coding Academy unique, and how ArCA helped launch his own career after completing a full-stack program in Fall 2022.
