Following the well-deserved accolades offered at the Faculty & Staff Recognition Reception two days prior, this celebration will recognize faculty whose dedication and innovation have made a meaningful impact on student learning and engagement across campus. We are honored to welcome remarks from the University President and Provost, who will help us celebrate the outstanding contributions of this year’s honorees.

Guests will enjoy light refreshments as we gather in recognition of the important work happening across our teaching and learning community.

Spring Cleaning? We’ll Take Your Clothing Donations!

Don’t forget, as you start spring cleaning, that the Student Everyday Wear (SEW) Closet in Bernard Hall, Room 205, will gladly take gently used/clean clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women. The Closet, which operates solely off of donations, provides five, free items per month to any UCA student. The Closet is open Monday-Thursday from noon until 3. Donations may also be dropped off in Room 207 of Bernard Hall during regular business hours.

Sō Percussion Now FREE for UCA Faculty/Staff

Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 pm at the Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts

For 25 years and counting, Grammy-winning percussion quartet Sō Percussion has redefined chamber music for the 21st century. They are celebrated by audiences and presenters for a dazzling range of work: for live performances in which “telepathic powers of communication” (The New York Times) bring to life the vibrant percussion repertoire; for an extravagant array of collaborations in classical music, pop, indie rock, contemporary dance, and theater; and for their work in education and community-building, seeking to explore the immense possibility of art in our time.

This event is sponsored by the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Artist in Residence Program.

Current and retired UCA Faculty and Staff may each receive two FREE tickets to three of the Public Appearances performances in the 2025-26 season.

* To obtain your tickets you must visit the box office in person with your current UCA ID before the day of the performance.
* Free tickets are subject to seating availability and, therefore, an event may sell out before the date arrives for free tickets.
* We cannot place orders for free tickets over the phone, nor can you bring the ID of anyone else in order to obtain more than 2 free tickets.
* You cannot receive more than 2 free tickets for an event, however we have great discounts on tickets for purchase.
