If you are currently enrolled in UCA’s health insurance, you are eligible to participate in BeWell’s no cost, confidential on-site biometric health screenings. The screening takes less than 15 minutes and is one of two activities to complete in order to qualify for a discount on your health insurance premiums in 2024. Patients must fast at least 4 hours and hydrate prior to the screening. Review BeWell Biometric Screening FAQs prior to scheduling.
Why participate?
During the screening process, employees discover unknown health concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes and some types of cancer. In addition to promoting the well-being of faculty and staff, screenings are the main strategy used to mitigate financial risk to UCA’s self-insured health plan. By participating in annual screenings, you are doing your part to help minimize increases to your health insurance premiums.
