La Dolce Vita Bear Camp

Success Coaching for students enrolled in Summer I or Summer II is available through Student Success Services. Coaches can work with students to improve study skills, discuss time management strategies, and make a plan for a successful Summer or Fall term. Enrolled students in Academic Recovery (alert or probation) can also fulfill their coaching requirements this summer, instead of waiting for the Fall.

Griffin Planetarium shows this Friday June 13 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm: The one-hour shows this week include a tour of the current sky, and the full-dome movie “One Sky” which tells the sky myths of various cultures. The planetarium is located in the Conway Corporation Center for the Sciences. Seating starts 10 minutes before show time. Admission is free. Seating limited to the first 94. No admission after the shows begin. No food or drink allowed.

Good morning! This is Jacob Christie with the Tutoring and Academic Support Center, or TASC, letting you all know that we are now open for in-person and virtual appointments for students taking Summer I and Summer II courses. This service is available to all students for FREE! We’re open Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and have highly successful peer tutors ready to assist students in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, and more (full list of courses available at the bottom of this email).
We also have Study and Testing Skills tutoring, which offers students the chance to come in and work to brush up and learn new note-taking, testing, and study skills for their courses. We also offer Study Doubling, where students can sit down and work quietly with a tutor to help them stay on task. Lastly, we also offer Technology Tutoring, which offers help to students with programs like Blackboard, the Google Suite, Office 365, and more.
